South East Asian Night

I think I put too much coconut milk so my Indonesian Chicken Curry looks like Thai Green Curry instead!!! AND... I was suppose to make Paneer Makhanwala but I got the wrong cottage cheese, so I put in pork I had in my freezer, only to realize pork isn't too popular amongst Indians...? Oh well.

I've never understood why stew looking dishes have leaves on them. I know its to make them look good, but why and how does it make them look good? Its just a bit of green stuff off a tree, stuck on your meal, that you eventually have to pick off anyway?

Hehe.. thats my left over corriander from the first curry. I like it cus it looks nice with the contrast. Food is about presentation and it looks yummier if it looks nicer, non? I guess the concept of the leaf is kinda like the sides of green veggies or tomato or whatever they put on the same plate as the main dish. But I agree with you, its something you pick off anyways :) like parseley.
